Dj Wolff '03

Dj Wolff is a Partner in the International Trade group of Crowell & Moring LLP in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses primarily on advising clients on compliance with the ever-changing landscape of U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, and anti-money laundering laws and regulations. Dj has spent substantial time seconded in-house to his financial institution clients to design compliance programs and he now spends more than half the year traveling globally, providing both on-the-ground compliance training to clients and conducting internal investigations when needed. Dj was selected as one of the National Law Journal’s “DC Rising Stars” in 2019 and one of the Global Investigation Review’s 40 under 40 internationally in 2017. Dj also works as a Director at C&M International, the firm's trade policy affiliate, with which he primarily represents clients in front of multilateral organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (“APEC”).

Dj graduated in 2003 from St. Luke’s where he was the Valedictorian, co-captain of the varsity soccer and tennis teams, and a regular fixture backstage in the theater program, ultimately serving as St. Luke’s first “Student Technical Director.” After SLS, Dj went on to Dartmouth College where he graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Government and Economics Modified with History.  He also holds a MSc in International Relations, with merit, from the London School of Economics, and a JD from Stanford Law School.

 

Dj currently splits his time between his office in Washington, D.C. and Boston where his wife, Kristin, works and lives.
